performed exceptional in assisting to our last minutes needs.
To Sabrina Aris, providing us support and basically meeting our every needs every
step of the way.
And of course, the Banquet Captain, for her excellent performance and outstanding
dedication to her job in making our Yellow Ribbon Event Successful.
From every component of your staff, they provided me with a greater need to host
more Yellow Ribbon Events at your hotel if permitted. I am going to make the
recommendation to host Yellow Ribbon Events at your hotel as much as possible.

Barbara Vaniski, was extremely helpful in arranging for and conducting three other events for
me in the hotel. A Saturday evening dinner of about 40 people, a Monday evening reception for
1300 people and a Thursday luncheon for 190 people. Barbara did an outstanding, as well as
professional job in arranging these events and making sure they were conducted without a hitch.
The food, beverage, service and wait staff for all three events was excellent. Barbara was
delightful to work with, and as I am sure you already know, she represents your hotel in a most
friendly, dignified and dedicated manner. Once again thank you for everything and I look
forward to the time we will be able to visit your fine hotel in the future.
Every year our law firm conducts a series of client seminars in Hilton Hotels across California.
These seminars are for our long-term clients, many of whom have been with us for as much as
20 years. Your entire staff, especially your banquet captains always do an outstanding job in
helping us put on a first-class, successful event. I particularly want to express our appreciation
for your Senior Catering Manager, Barbara Vaniski. When I have an experienced hotel
professional like Barbara to advise me year after year, it makes it so much easier for me.
Barbara's courtesy, competence, and positive attitude make her a delight to work with. I have
learned to trust her suggestions, and she always makes our events better.
I especially want to acknowledge Barbara Vaniski during my recent stay at your property. She
was exceptional for several reasons; she was courteous, prompt, helpful and friendly! These
attributes and the way she consistently behaved are sincerely appreciated by me. As an event
manager, I travel throughout the US and I've had many interesting experiences at different hotel

of all the hotel coordinators we met with, you were by far the best. We appreciated your calm,
yet professional attitude and like that you were willing to accommodate our needs and work
with us. You made everything so easy and smooth – we didn't worry about anything! We wish

I have just completed a memorable weekend at the Hilton Anaheim to celebrate a 50 year high
school reunion. The reunion was a three day affair, starting with a Friday night mixer, Saturday
night banquet with dancing and a Sunday morning breakfast. We had the pleasure to work with
Sabrina Aris and her pleasant staff, who proved to be very professional, knowledgeable and a
great asset to the endeavors of this monumental task. Chef Juan Lopez was fantastic; he is a
true artist. The presentation of his entrees, plus the fact that everything was hot – amazing! I
loved it when he came out to greet some of the guests. The bartenders did a great job keeping
lines to a minimum. They were fast, efficient and very accommodating about the variety of
drinks requested. Bottom line: your excellent staff made me look like a hero! I have worked
with many people in the past and in my 30 years of being on the reunion committee, I can
honestly say that I was very impressed!
Executive Chef Fred Mensinga has a wonderful passion for his work and cares deeply about
helping others. He represents the Hilton as a true business professional and has made the
Hilton a friendly place to do business. He is a great spokesperson for the hotel and extends
himself as a role-model to aspiring industry professionals. We all loved his food and
presentation. Top notch all the way!
Barbara Vaniski was such a great person to work with and made sure everything was taken care
of from the room reservations to menus to all the last minute changes that we made. Having
someone like Barbara makes hosting an event so easy because she takes care of all the details
and always with a smile on her face. She is amazing and you are so lucky to have her on your
staff!
